CRYSTAL GUNNERS V2

About: Crystal Gunners is a top-down 2 player competitive game where players collect and deposit gems in the opponent’s base to score and win.

​

For this project, I took my previous version of the game and improved it in every aspect. There are now 3 unique characters, special events, and much more art. My focus was to experiment with systems and levels until I created something I felt was a unique, cohesive, and enjoyable experience.

KOTH_GULLY

About: This was a level I created for the game Team Fortress 2. Team Fortress 2 is a multiplayer first-person shooter game developed and published by Valve and features 9 unique classes.

This was the first time I worked within a pre-existing game, which made it a really unique and exciting challenge for me. I learned a lot about what goes into making content that matches the source material (everything). This map is a King of the Hill level and has specific routes and plans for every class.

About: Collect powerups, fight your opponent, and destroy their crystal base in this 2-player top-down competitive twin-stick shooter!

This project was focused on the competition between players. I really enjoyed blending top-down shooter elements with MOBA elements, and it let me experiment a lot with different abilities and levels. This was made in 2 months using Unity.

POWERGEM

About: PowerGEM is a bullet-hell game where you control a gem and survive against waves of bullets and enemies.

​

This was a project I developed by myself in 2 months. It was made in Unity, and allowed me to focus on a player's challenge and accomplishment. With this project, I wanted to make a bullet-hell where the character was controlled with the mouse, which was something I had never seen before.

TEAM FORTRESS 2: THE BOARD GAME

About: Experience the class-based shooter classic in this re-creation for tabletops! Includes 6 of the 9 classes and 3 game modes.

This was a very difficult project where I tried to recreate the experience of playing TF2 and make it a 2 player board game. This is one of my favorite games of all time, and I believe I did it justice with what I could.

CACTUS ADVENTURE

About: Explore the canyon dunes and uncover the mystery of a missing cacti child in this first-person adventure game.

​

This was my first large project done in Unity, and my focus for it was to create the appropriate feeling and scale for the canyon environment. This project let me work a lot with level design and storytelling.

BANANA REPUBLIC

About: Compete with (and sabotage) your fellow monkeys to the top of the tree in this racing board game.

This project had me focus on making a 4 player board game with as little unnecessary complexity as possible. I decided to take a racing game, and worked on making it as fun as possible without adding too much filler.

WIZARD TOWER SUMMONER

About: Build towers to stop your 2 opposing wizards and control the most land in this strategy board game!

​

This was a 3-player board game project where my focus was to make an entirely random-less game. This was very difficult, but my solution was to make player's choices rely primarily on the moves the opponents made before them, rather than their previous strategy.

UMAMI CHAMPION

About: Have an epic showdown to see who can serve the most dishes in the night and be crowned the Umami Champion!

​

This was a 2 player card game that focused on trying to have as much randomness as possible, while still remaining fun. Each turn, players have a maximum of 2 options every turn, however these decisions always make the difference.
